Actors Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan, who previously worked together on Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead’s time-travel narcotic sci-fi feature “Synchronic,” are reuniting for “12 12 12”.
The InSneider broke the news, saying the pair will lead this limited series which is described as a heist drama from TV veteran Kari Skogland who directed Mackie in “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” TV series.
Jim Keeble and Dudi Appleton reportedly wrote the script for the series, though plot details are under wraps beyond the heist aspect.
The series will reportedly be produced by David Ellison’s Skydance, alongside Mackie’s Make It With Gravy, Anonymous Content, and Inspire Entertainment.
It marks a return to TV for Mackie who scored good reviews for Peacock’s live-action TV adaptation of PlayStation’s video game series “Twisted Metal” – that series has already been renewed for a second season.
Dornan was most recently seen in Kenneth Branagh’s Poirot film “A Haunting in Venice” and the second season of “The Tourist” which will launch on Netflix in the U.S. on February 29th.
