Every hero has a beginning as Disney and Pixar Studios releases the official trailer for their upcoming animated film Lightyear. View trailer below.
The sci-fi action-adventure presents the definitive origin story of Buzz Lightyear—the hero who inspired the toy—introducing the legendary Space Ranger who would win generations of fans.
Oh wow…. that was a surprise. I knew that a new trailer for this was to be coming out soon, but I wasn’t expecting it to drop this year in the new year. Yet, I’m glad that it did. This new trailer showcases a lot of new footage from the upcoming film and it looks to be quite an exciting adventure in store. I think that actor Chris Evans is a good voice for Buzz and love the new animal sidekick character. I know that Disney and Pixar have had a rocky road in some of Pixar’s recent releases (i.e., Soul, Luca, and Turning Red), but it looks like Lightyear (as of this blog entry) is going to be released in theaters for an early summer of 2022. All in all, I am excited to see Lightyear this summer. Looks to be a lot of fun to go to infinity….and beyond!
