The mystery is far from over for John Sugar. Sugar returns for its highly anticipated second season on June 19, bringing back its unique blend of noir detective storytelling, Hollywood nostalgia, and science-fiction intrigue.

At the center of the series is Colin Farrell as John Sugar, the film-loving private investigator whose biggest secret was revealed in the shocking first season finale: he’s actually an alien living undercover on Earth. Rather than returning home, Sugar has chosen to stay behind in search of his missing sister, setting the stage for a more personal and emotional chapter.

This season begins with what appears to be a straightforward missing persons case. Sugar is hired to locate the older brother of a rising Los Angeles boxer. But as fans of the series have come to expect, nothing is ever simple. The investigation soon spirals into a dangerous city-wide conspiracy that forces Sugar to confront difficult questions about morality, justice, and how far he is willing to go to protect those he cares about.

Season two also expands its cast with newcomers Jin Ha, Tony Dalton, Laura Donnelly, and Sasha Calle.

The eight-episode season premieres on June 19, with new episodes arriving weekly through August 7.
