It’s a Bank Holiday Monday here in the UK, and the weather is hot. It’s hot. Damn hot! Real hot! The hottest thing is my shorts. I could cook things in it. A little crotch pot cooking.
Obviously, being British, we are all scared of the hot glowing thing in the sky, but at least there are memes. They are safer than the sun; you can’t get a melanoma from a meme.
And, as with every Monday, we can have a moan. My moan is that I’m currently writing this up on Sunday afternoon, and I’m watching Ladies First. I know, I know, it’s my own fault, but it’s as bad as you think.
If this movie had been made about 20 years ago, it might have been mildly amusing. Sadly, it’s 2025, and Ladies First is about preaching about how horrible men are and how great women are. We know, we’ve been through all this, you’re about 5 years too late, movie. There was nothing redeemable about this movie, in any way, shape or form.
Monday’s Memes today have a theme, and it’s all thanks to a Dr. Clown PhD on Twitter. He’s been posting images and videos of Elliot Page in different movies. At first, I honestly felt bad for Page, but then I remembered that she hacked her own breasts off to identify as a man. You have to put up with the consequences of your own actions.
Also, give Dr Clown a follow, as he’s had issues with Twitter trying to demonise him because of his content.
