Terry Carter
Emmy winner Terry Carter, who played Sgt. Joe Broadhurst on NBC’s “McCloud” and Colonel Tigh in the original “Battlestar Galactica,,” has died. He was 95 years old.

A cause of death was not given. Carter was one of the first Black actors to land a series-regular sitcom role, playing Private Sugarman on “The Phil Silvers Show” in the 1950s. [Source: TV Line]

Severance
The second season of the hit Apple TV+ drama series “Severance” has wrapped production. The show’s costume designer Carol Deelay broke the news, sharing a photo from the final day on set. The show’s second season was halted mid-production due to the strikes

Orphan
Dulé Hill (“The Wonder Years”) and Sarayu Blue (“Expats”) will have key recurring roles alongside Ellen Pompeo (“Grey’s Anatomy”) and Mark Duplass (“Creep”) in the eight-episode Hulu series “Orphan”.

The film is inspired by the true story of Michael and Kristine Barnett, a couple who begin to have suspicions about their adoptive daughter Natalia (Imogen Faith Reid) including her age and background.

Trying
Apple TV+ has premiered the trailer for the fourth season of its comedy series “Trying” which returns on May 22nd. Esther Smith and Rafe Spall return in the new eight-episode run which fast-forwards to six years later.

Nikki (Smith) and Jason (Spall) are experienced at adopting and have built up a nuclear family. As their teenage daughter, Princess (Scarlett Rayner), begins to seek a connection with her birth mother, Nikki and Jason face a test of their parenting skills.
