NEON has premiered the full trailer for “The Blackcoat’s Daughter” director Oz Perkins’ new horror-thriller film “Longlegs” starring Maika Monroe and Nicolas Cage.
The story follows Lee Harker (Monroe), a talented new FBI agent, has been assigned to an unsolved case of a serial killer.
As the investigation becomes more complicated and occult evidence is uncovered, Harker realizes a personal link and must act quickly to prevent another family murder.
Alicia Witt and Blair Underwood co-star. Until now there’s only been a series of cryptic teasers whereas this offers more of a proper trailer for the movie – albeit still heavy on the symbolism.
The film was shot in Vancouver early last year and is slated to arrive in cinemas on July 12th.
Cage is coming off a number of films of late including “Dream Scenario,” and he also has “Arcadian” opening this year. Monroe will soon film the “It Follows” sequel “They Follow”.
