Bleecker Street Studios has premiered the first photo from the secretive film “Sasquatch Sunset” which hails from directing duo David and Nathan Zellner (“Damsel,” “Kumiko, The Treasure Hunter”) and was shot in secret in Northern California a while back.
Jesse Eisenberg, Riley Keough, Nathan Zellner, and Christophe Zajac-Denek star in a project described as a ” year in the life of a singular family”. The photo would seem to suggest said family are sasquatches. Ari Aster executive produces the project which Bleecker Street will release theatrically in 2024. [Source: The Playlist]
Leverage: Redemption
Amazon has renewed its spin-off series “Leverage: Redemption” for a third season with the show set to move to Prime Video rather than Freevee for the new run. The series has been one of Freevee’s biggest titles outside of “Bosch: Legacy”. It stars Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf, Aldis Hodge, Noah Wyle, and Aleyse Shannon. [Source: Variety]
Saltburn
Amazon has announced a December 22nd global release date on Prime Video of Emerald Fennell’s much buzzed-about feature “Saltburn”. Barry Keoghan, Jacob Elordi and Rosamund Pike star in the film which opened in cinemas on November 17th. [Source: Amazon]
Darkman
Shout Factory has revealed a 4K UHD SteelBook Limited Edition Blu-ray of Sam Raimi’s film “Darkman” is on the way and will release on February 20th. Liam Neeson, Frances McDormand, Colin Friels and Larry Drake co-star in the film in which a scientist, burned beyond recognition, uses his technology to take down the bad guys responsible.
