A couple of smaller film trailers have arrived in the past day or so that are worth a look.
First up, the teaser trailer is out for the Netflix sci-fi sequel “Code 8 Part II” which will release on the platform next year. Cousins Robbie Amell and Stephen Amell return in the follow-up to their 2019 Canadian indie feature which scored good reviews.
In the sequel, Connor’s attempt at staying out of trouble is destroyed when he’s forced to help 14-year-old Pav (Sirena Gulamgaus) escape from a pack of corrupt officers led by Sergeant King (Alex Mallari Jr.) using newly launched robotic K9’s to track Pav down.
Next, NEON has released a trailer for Wim Wenders’ new film “Perfect Days” which scored raves at Cannes. It began its U.S. theatrical rollout yesterday at Angelika Film Center. Hirayama (Kōji Yakusho) is an utterly content toilet cleaner leading a simple life. Soon, a series of unexpected encounters gradually reveal more of his past.
Finally comes the trailer for Netflix’s “The Archies” movie which transports the premise in 1960s India where Archie and the gang navigate romance, friendship, and the future of Riverdale.
A set of rising challenges emerge when Archie finds himself entangled in a love triangle with Veronica and Betty. All their lives take a dramatic turn when a businessman sets his sights on demolishing their beloved Green Park area.
So, the group set on a mission to stand united and fight for their beloved sanctuary. Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and Vedang Raina star in the film which hits the service December 7th.
