Exit 8 Neon has acquired the North American rights to Japanese director Genki Kawamura’s thriller “Exit 8” based on the 2023 indie video game. Plans are for an early 2026 release. The story follows a man trapped in an endless, sterile subway passageway, who sets out to find Exit 8.
AMC Reducing Ads Following Complaints
After several major studios expressed their dissatisfaction with AMC Theatres‘ decision to lengthen their pre-shows from 20 minutes to around 30 minutes, the exhibitor appears to be pulling back. Deadline reports that the company is working to shorten its preshow with the reduction aiming to be done by year’s end.
