Demi Moore is set to join the cast of Taylor Sheridan’s new Paramount+ drama series “Landman” which just began production around Fort Worth, Texas.
Set in the boomtowns of modern-day West Texas, the series deals with those seeking or holding their fortunes in the world of oil rigs.
The show is based on the eleven-part podcast “Boomtown” and is said to be an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and billionaires fueling the boom.
Moore will play the series regular role of Cami, wife to one of the most powerful oil men in Texas and a friend of Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton).
Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie and Paulina Chávez co-star. Christian Wallace serves as executive producer alongside Sheridan, David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman and Stephen Kay.
Moore can currently be seen in the second season of Ryan Murphy’s anthology series “Feud: Capote vs. The Swans” and Coralie Fargeat’s first studio film “The Substance” alongside Margaret Qualley.
