Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day has come in ahead of expectations with $44 million domestic and another $48.9 million overseas.

A combined worldwide opening weekend of $92.9 million is up on the projections of $35 million domestically and $30 million overseas.

Last week’s big releases, Scary Movie 6 (or was it 7?) and Masters of the Universe were simply swept aside and suffered drops of 73% and 71% respectively.

Amazon seemingly know something we don’t know, as they still seem happy with Masters Of The Universe performance.

Scary Movie grabbed $14.5 million and Masters Of The Universe earned $8.7 million.

They were split by by Obsession with $19 million.

Further down, with domestic openings only The Furious and Stop That Train pulled in $3 million and $2.2 million respectively.
