By Chris Pratt is one of the most bankable stars of the past decade or so – thanks to the “Guardians of the Galaxy” trilogy, the “Jurassic World” trilogy, and his voice roles in “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” and the two “The LEGO Movie” films.
He’ll soon be seen on Netflix in early 2025 in “The Electric State,” the $320 million-budgeted new sci-fi drama from the Russo brothers, and has a role in the upcoming “The Terminal List” TV spin-off.
More recently he’s become a bit more of a polarising figure – some having issue with his getting cast in so many animated voice role leads, others over his perceived political leanings.
His co-workers praise him though and, speaking at New York Comic Con this weekend via PEOPLE, he says dealing with difficult co-stars on set is one of the few things he’ll complain about:
“Look, these guys can attest to this, because they’re the same way, like, there’s no room for s—- attitudes [on set]. You can’t have a bad attitude in moviemaking, it ruins everything for everyone, and then you don’t last long.
It sucks when people have a crappy attitude. So when you show up on set, there’s no reason why you should… Like, ‘Oh, are you having a hard time living your dream? Is that tough for you today?’ Like, come on and pull your head out. Have fun.”
Millie Bobby Brown, Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Giancarlo Esposito and Stanley Tucci co-star in “The Electric State” while Woody Harrelson, Anthony Mackie, Brian Cox, Jenny Slate, Hank Azaria, Colman Domingo and Alan Tudyk all lend their voices. It premieres March 14th 2025 on Netflix.
