Following her breakout role in Curry Barker’s insanely popular “Obsession,” a sub-$1 million movie that just passed the $400 million box-office mark worldwide this weekend, actress Inde Navarette is now in high demand it seems.

Speaking with Nylon Magazine, Navarette has revealed she had a list of dream directors she’d hoped to work with, including Ryan Coogler, Greta Gerwig, Michael Mann and Jake Schreier.

More importantly though, she said she’d already had meetings with both Mann and Schreier recently. The article also indicates she would be open to doing a Marvel film.

That has quickly led to speculation the meetings were about roles in the pair’s upcoming projects – namely Mann’s “Heat 2” and Schreier’s “X-Men” film – even as meetings between actors and filmmakers happen all the time and aren’t necessarily for specific roles.

Regarding “Heat 2,” Mann is reportedly looking for someone to play a younger version of Ashley Judd’s Charlene Shiherlis from the original film. Navarette would seem an unlikely fit, but some of the project’s casting choices have already raised eyebrows.

As for “X-Men,” there are any number of roles up for grabs for what’s aiming to be a younger-skewing take on the mutant characters. Over the weekend, a rumour emerged that pop princess Sabrina Carpenter was being eyed for a part with Emma Frost speculation quickly following.
