Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” continues fleshing out its sixth season British cast, and has recruited two former Time Lords to do it.
“Doctor Who” stars David Tennant and Jodie Whitaker lead an impressive new collection of UK talent joining the show for the new run in recurring guest star roles.
Alongside them will be “Bridgerton” and “Big Mood” star/funnywoman Nicola Coughlan, comedy legend Richard Ayoade, the one and only Jim Broadbent, British TV stalwart Adrian Lukis, and acting veteran Kathryn Hunter. Character specifics are under wraps.
Core cast members Steve Martin, Martin Short, Selena Gomez and Michael Cyril Creighton return while previously announced recurring guest stars include Martin Freeman, Geri Halliwell-Horner, Jamie Demetriou, Anjana Vasan, Jane Horrocks, Derek Jacobi, Lesley Nicol, Jennifer Saunders, Sean Teale, Simone Ashley, Amar Chadha-Patel, Rhea Norwood, Matthew Beard, and Sharon Horgan.
Oscar winner Da’Vine Joy Randolph has also been seen on set for the sixth season but she’s not been officially confirmed as yet to return to her recurring role of Detective Williams.
Season 6 of the hit Hulu comedy is currently in production in the U.K. As previously reported, the new season will see leads Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez venture across the pond to continue their investigation into the death of Cinda Canning, as seen in the Season 5 finale.
Filming is currently underway in London with Steve Martin and John Hoffman serving as writers. Hoffman, the core cast trio, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith, Jennifer Crittenden & Gabrielle Allan executive produce for 20th Television.
