Superheroes are still a thing, well, they are for James Gunn. He did take over the DCU and all, so I guess he has to have some vested interest. An official image is online of Lex Luthor from Man of Tomorrow.

Umm, cool, I guess. As I have said, I’ve never read the comics and know nothing of Superman outside of the movies. Am I guessing this armour is good?
The DCU is just a couple of weeks away from Supergirl. Which, according to reports, is already hitting a backlash because of comments by Milly Alock attacking the ‘toxic’ fans. The numbers for Supergirl will be interesting, as Alcock is already confirmed to return for Man of Tomorrow.
Man of Tomorrow is a sequel to Gunn’s Superman, starring David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult. Both are reprising their roles for the sequel.
In the movie, Superman and Lex have to team up against a bigger threat to the world, Brainic, who will be played by Lars Eidinger.
Superman grossed $618 million at the box office, which was a success, but not the smash hit Gunn was hoping for. It was the highest-grossing superhero movie of 2025, which isn’t saying much. It was up against Thunderbolts*, Captain America: Brave New World and Fantastic Four: First Steps.
Man of Tomorrow isn’t due out for another year or so, so expect more images, news snippets, and basically the entire movie before the movie comes out.
