PlayStation held two PlayStation State of Play events this morning with announcements and reveals of multiple games.
The biggest news was release date-related, with the “Until Dawn” sequel coming January 28th, while the last of the “Final Fantasy VII” remake trilogy ‘Revelation’ set to launch on April 8th.
There was also a launch trailer for “Marvel’s Wolverine” later this month, the announcement of a sequel to the wonderfully ridiculous killer shark game “Man-Eater,” and a look at new footage from Metro 2039.
“Ghost of Yotei” shows off its brand-new story expansion “Echoes of Sekigahara” with a whole new area of Ezo to explore, new enemies, and a new weapon to master. There’s also the main game’s new hardcore roguelite survival mode ‘Most Wanted’ allowing you to play as several characters from the games – including Tsushima’s Jin Sakai.
Major DLC reveals included the massive ‘Ascendance’ expansion for “Monster Hunter Wilds,” ‘Zenith’ for “Saros,” GTA6-themed controllers and even a LEGO PS1 set.
