Apple TV has premiered the teaser trailer for the fourth season of “Ted Lasso” and confirmed an August 5th premiere date for the new run.
In the new season, Ted returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s football team.
Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.
Jason Sudeikis, along with fan favourites Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift, all return alongside new additions Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely.
Emmy Award winner Jack Burditt (“Nobody Wants This”) joins as executive producer alongside Sudeikis, Hunt, Goldstein, Bill Lawrence, Jeff Ingold, Liza Katzer, Leann Bowen, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee and Bill Wrubel.
Sudeikis is believed to have another three-season arc planned for the new story, but so far only a fourth season has been set.
