Several upcoming features have just landed multiple known actors to join their ensembles.

First up, Pamela Anderson, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, Kiernan Shipka, and Billie Lourd have been revealed as the cast of Gia Coppola’s new film “The Last Showgirl” which recently wrapped filming.

The story follows a seasoned Vegas showgirl who must plan for her future when her show abruptly closes after a 30-year run. As a dancer in her fifties, she struggles with what to do next.

As a mother, she strives to repair a strained relationship with her daughter. Kate Gersten wrote the film while Robert Schwartzman and Natalie Farrey producing.

Next, Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, Sean Bean and Paddy Considine are all set to join Ian McShane, Nick Mohammed and Sonoya Mizuno in Amazon’s comedy “Deep Cover”.

Tom Kingsley helms the film about a trio of British improv actors hired by the police to help stage low-level stings. They end up deep inside London’s criminal underworld. Derek Connolly, Colin Trevorrow, Ben Ashenden and Alexander Owen penned the script.

Third up – Linda Cardellini, Edi Patterson, Tim Heidecker and Toby Huss will star in David Gordon Green’s new comedy “Nutcrackers” at Rivulet Films, with Leland Douglas penning the script.

Ben Stiller plays a work-obsessed man who travels to rural Ohio to look after his four nephews after their parents die in a car accident. Filming, which took place in Cincinnati, has already wrapped.

Finally, Amy Adams is in negotiations to co-star with Jenna Ortega in Taika Waititi’s next film “Klara and the Sun,” based on Kazuo Ishiguro’s bestselling novel, for Sony’s 3000 Pictures. Filming is slated to begin shortly.

Ortega plays an Artificial Friend designed to prevent loneliness. She is purchased by a mother (Adams) and a bright teen named Josie who adores her new robot companion but suffers from a mysterious illness. Waititi, David Heyman and Garrett Basch produce.
