By Lionsgate has premiered the first trailer for the vampire feature “Sunrise” starring Guy Pearce and Alex Pettyfer.
The story follows an ex-cop named Fallon (Pettyfer) who returns to the scene of a horrific crime. The residents of a rural town soon discover that this dark visitor is really a vampire who feeds on blood and fear.
After he is befriended by a kind immigrant family, the instinctive killer is faced with a choice between revenge and redemption.
Oscar-nominated screenwriter Ronan Blaney (“Boogaloo and Graham,” “A Good Woman Is Hard to Find”) penned the script whilst Andrew Baird (“One Way”) directs
Crystal Yu, William Gao, Kurt Yaeger, and Olwen Fouere also star while Martin Brennan, Jib Polhemus, Nathan Klingher, and Ford Corbett, while Janine Cobain and Katy Jackson produce.
“Sunrise” will release in cinemas and on digital on January 19th.
