Microsoft has confirmed that it will reveal its highly anticipated Xbox business update this coming Thursday at 12pm US-PT.

The update will be part of an episode of the Xbox official podcast with Gaming boss Phil Spencer, Xbox president Sarah Bond, and Xbox president of game content and studios Matt Booty all on hand to discuss the future of the brand and business.

According to The Verge, it’s expected that Xbox will be announcing a new multiplatform strategy moving forward with games like “Hi-Fi Rush” and “Pentiment” coming to rival consoles like the PS5 and Switch shortly, followed by live service title “Sea of Thieves” later this year.

There has also recently been mounting speculation that bigger titles like “Starfield,” the “Gears of War” franchise, and the upcoming “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” could also be coming to PlayStation.

Just like the overall reaction to the news, the post on X has seen wildly varying reception with some excited, some understanding, and some feeling betrayed.
