No one can stop the reign as 20th Century Fox releases the official trailer for the upcoming film Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. View trailer below.

Director Wes Ball breathes new life into the global, epic franchise set several generations in the future following Caesar’s reign, in which apes are the dominant species living harmoniously and humans have been reduced to living in the shadows. As a new tyrannical ape leader builds his empire, one young ape undertakes a harrowing journey that will cause him to question all that he has known about the past and to make choices that will define a future for apes and humans alike.

Yes, I’m in love with this new trailer. As I’ve previously mentioned for my post on the film’s teaser trailer, I did like the recent Planet of the Apes trilogy, which showcased blockbuster flair to a very engaging narrative on an old property. This new trailer showcases plenty of new footage from the upcoming movie, which details a bit more of the feature’s plot as well as the roster of characters that are going to play a part in the story. It will be interesting to see where this movie will go, which is to be the start of new trilogy in the series. Overall, I’m very much excited to see this movie and how it will take the franchise on a whole new cinematic journey.
