NEON has premiered the first trailer, a red-band one, for the Sydney Sweeney-led horror film “Immaculate” opening in cinemas on March 22nd.
Sweeney plays Cecilia, a woman of devout faith who is offered a fulfilling new role at an illustrious Italian convent.
Her warm welcome to the picture-perfect Italian countryside is soon interrupted as it becomes clearer to Cecilia that her new home harbors some dark and horrifying secrets.
Also starring are Simona Tabasco (“The White Lotus”), Alvaro Morte (“Money Heist”), Benedetta Porcaroli (“Baby”), and Dora Romano (“The Hand of God”).
Michael Mohan (“The Voyeurs”) directs from a script by Andrew Lobel. Sweeney, David Bernad, Jonathan Davino, Teddy Schwarzman and Michael Heimler produce.
Sweeney most recently starred in rom-com “Anything But You” and has “Madame Web” opening next month. She’ll soon star in the “Barbarella” remake and “The Registration”.
