Marvel Studios has released fresh concept art from “Avengers: Doomsday” at the Shanghai Expo in China.
Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth and Robert Downey Jr. appeared in a video to show off the artwork which showcases not just Doctor Doom but the various heroes.
In it we see the New Avengers (Yelena Belova, Red Guardian, Bucky, Ghost, U.S. Agent, and Bob), Thor, Ant-Man, Steve Rogers, the X-Men (Cyclops, Gambit, Mystique, Beast, Magneto, and Professor X), the Fantastic Four (Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, The Thing, and Human Torch), and Sam Wilson/Captain America, The Falcon, Shang-Chi, Shuri/Black Panther, and King M’Baku. Also within there is Loki.
During a Q&A session on site, Marvel’s Kevin Feige was on hand and reportedly stated that Florence Pugh’s Yelena would have a significant role and that mutants will appear shortly in the MCU:
“Well, Marvel is 90 years old, there are so many great female characters. Some of my favorite female characters are in a group called the X-Men, and the X-Men are coming up very, very soon”
Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Paul Rudd, Robert Downey Jr., Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Mabel Cadena, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, India Rose Hemsworth, and Wesley Holloway star.
We had four teasers back in December, and the first proper trailer is likely to screen at San Diego Comic Con in two weeks ahead of being attached to copies of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” in cinemas the following week.
“Avengers: Doomsday” is set to be released in cinemas on December 18th.
