Tomorrow is looking to be a very busy one in terms of digital releases with a bunch of titles that hit cinemas around Christmas making the jump to the PVOD window just one month after release.
Universal and Illumination’s animated family adventure comedy film “Migration,” Michael Mann’s well-reviewed but underperforming “Ferrari,” and James Wan’s “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” have all set January 23rd PVOD launches.
In addition, both “Ferrari” and “Aquaman” have set March 12th disc release dates whereas “Migration” will arrive on disc on February 24th. More regular VOD rentals are expected on those dates.
They join the previously announced PVOD release of “Night Swim” along with the sell-through only release of Disney’s “Wish” also all happening tomorrow.
All precede the Jodie Comer-led “The End We Start From” hitting VOD on February 6th, the Disney+ release of “The Marvels” on February 7th, and the Hulu release of Taika Waititi’s “Next Goal Wins” on February 15th – all of which have just been announced.
