Paramount+ has set a September 18th premiere date for the second season of the Tom Hardy-led series “MobLand” which also stars Helen Mirren and Pierce Brosnan.

In the second season, the Harrigans struggle to show a unified front as rising rivals threaten their fractured criminal empire – and Harry Da Souza (Hardy), their street-smart and formidable ‘fixer’, must walk a dangerous tightrope when tensions within the family intensify.

As violence spills into every corner of their lives, loyalties snap, safety proves temporary, and the battle for power leaves no room for mercy. Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt and Lara Pulver also star.

Much of the talk about the show has been about Hardy’s potential return for Season 3, but a renewal order has not yet been made official.

Also today, FX’s horror anthology series “American Horror Story” has set a September 24th premiere date for its 13th season. Plot specifics are under wraps, with the bit reveal set to take place at San Diego Comic Con in two weeks.

Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Gabourey Sidibe and Leslie Grossman are all returning and are joined by Ariana Grande this time out.
