Poor Arnie Hammer has been through a lot. He’s all sorts of allegations against him, but it was all dropped, and he’s back to making movies, and he definitely did not eat anyone.
According to the IMDb, he’s back with three projects. One of them has had more details released, Citizen Vigilante. Here are some details: the story is:
A man takes justice into his own hands, hunting down criminals. His vigilante crusade makes him a social media star but puts him at odds with the local police chief.
It’s not just about that, according to reports, it “follows a wealthy American in Europe who blames migrants for rising crime”. Talk about hitting the Zeitgeist of modern culture. Again, according to reports, Citizen Vigilante has already been banned in Germany.
So, you have a story about a man who goes around killing immigrants, played by Hammer, an actor who was accused of sexual assault by several women. However, it gets better.
I looked Citizen Vigilante up and it’s been directed by Uwe Boll. Please excuse me for a moment while I compose myself. Yes, Hammer’s big ‘comeback’ is being directed by Uwe Boll. I can’t see how this can fail.
Citizen Vigilante is released on the 19th June. I don’t know about you, but I really want to see it now!
