Good Monday morning, dear Outposters. It’s the start of another week, which means back to work, avoiding that one guy who smells like curry and lager after the weekend, and the mind-numbing dread that each day brings us closer to the end.
At least we have the memes to look forward to, so it’s not all bad.
Also, you can have a Monday moan; you must have seen something over the weekend you’re not happy about. Did you watch Masters of the Universe? Are you someone who thought it was good? Or hated it?
I was planning to see it, but I’m going to wait for streaming now. From what I read, it’s not worth the money or hassle of going to the cinema.
My Monday moan this week was the movie Millionaire’s Express (1986), starring Sammo Hung, Yeun Biao, and Cynthia Rothrock. I saw a clip from it the other day, and it looked good. The 80’s were peak for movies starring Hung, Biao and Jackie Chan; the three of them used to work together a lot.
Even though Millionaire’s Express didn’t have Jackie, it was still fun. What annoyed me was that the fight between Hung and Rothrock was over in about a minute. There was very little fighting in the rest of the movie; it was mostly comedy. It annoyed me a bit, since the entire fight was in the clip I watched. Oh well.
