Two of the most anticipated TV series returns of the year just released new clips as part of IGN’s Fan Fest celebrations.
First up, and following the season’s world premiere in Los Angeles tonight, Netflix has dropped a clip from the opening episode of the second season of the live-action “One Piece”. The clip appears to come right near the start of the episode as it reintroduces the Straw Hat crew, culminating in Luffy getting his own Wanted poster intro.
The scene sees the crew arguing about visiting Loguetown – the city where Gold Roger was born and executed – before heading into the Grand Line. It even makes a joke about those fans who thought they might skip this story from the anime/manga.
Also shown was a clip from “The Vampire Lestat,” the upcoming third season of AMC’s highly acclaimed “Interview with the Vampire” series.
The scene sees Lestat (Sam Reid) growing tired with music and sharing a video call with Louis (Jacob Anderson) when Lestat realises his life has been made public in Daniel’s book.
He rushes to a bookstore where the clerks are sharing their opinion on the Lestat ‘character’ from the book, and he’s decidedly not amused.
“One Piece” Season 2 will launch all eight episodes on March 10th while “The Vampire Lestat” begins its weekly run sometime in June.
