Shrinking
Apple TV+ has officially renewed its Harrison Ford and Jason Segel-led comedy series “Shrinking” for a third season. News of the renewal was announced Thursday at New York Comic Con.
The order comes as just the first two episodes of the latest season are now streaming on Apple TV+ with new episodes premiering every Wednesday. [Source: Apple TV+]
View-Master
Toy company Mattel is developing “View-Master,” a live-action film about its famed stereoscopic image device for Sony Pictures and Escape Artists. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, Steve Tisch and Tony Shaw will produce.
Celebrating its 85th anniversary this year, the device creates 3D images from still photographs on a wheel. It’s not clear how that will translate to what’s being dubbed a “four-quadrant family adventure.” [Source: Variety]
MPA Ratings
The MPA has revealed the ratings for two key upcoming films. First up, “Venom: The Last Dance” is officially rated PG-13 for “Intense sequences of violence and action, strong language and bloody images”.’
Meanwhile Leigh Whannel’s “The Wolf Man” has been rated R for “bloody violent content, grisly images and some language.” [Source: CBM]
Watchmen: Chapter II
Warner Bros. Home Entertainment have released the official trailer for “Watchmen Chapter II,” the second and final part of the DC animated adaptation of the iconic Alan Moore graphic novel.
The trailer follows Rorschach’s time in prison after being unmasked, while Doctor Manhattan has abandoned Earth for Mars. “Watchmen Chapter II” will be released on digital platforms on November 26th and disc December 3rd.
