Sony held its State of Play presentation today, showcasing trailers for a bunch of games coming to the PS5 and PS VR2.
Along with the already posted on “Ghost of Yotei” and “Horizon” Zero Dawn” remaster, with the trailers included again here, came a first look at the free DLC for “Astrobot” arriving this Fall and which includes new speed-run level as well as ten new bots to find.
There was also a sizzle reel for the PS5 Pro showing off what titles are getting PS5 Pro compatibility patches that should have them ready to play by launch time.
The “Metro” franchise is coming to PSVR2 with “Metro Awakening VR” was revealed for a November 7th release. This story-driven first-person adventure is built exclusively for VR that blends atmospheric exploration, stealth and combat.
The final DLC for “Alan Wake 2” has set an October release. Titled “The Lake House,” the first trailer confirms it will tie-in with Remedy’s previous game “Control”.
Two new game announcements included the Henry Selick-esque claymation game “The Midnight Walk,” and the online action RPG “ArcheAge Chronicles”.
There was also date news with “LEGO Horizon Adventures” set for a November 14th release date, the first two “Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver” titles are getting a remaster coming December 10th, and Capcoms “Monster Hunter Wilds” is coming with a February 28th 2025 release.
There was also new trailers for “Dragon Age: The Veilguard,” “Dynasty Warriors: Origins” and “Hell Is Us”. There was also the remastered “Lunar” JRPG collections, the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge – Radical Reptiles” DLC, a PSVR2 edition of “Hitman: World of Assassination,” and “Stellar Blade” getting an in-game crossover with “NieR: Automata”.
Additionally “Palworld” is officially coming to PS5 today after being a smash-hit on Xbox and PC. Check out the various trailers below:
