The full trailer has arrived for Zack Snyder’s upcoming dramatic feature “The Last Photograph,” which was shot in Colombia.

The trailer comes in the wake of the news that the film will receive its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 13th. The trailer was released through the TIFF official YouTube channel.

Stuart Martin and Fra Fee star in the film, which follows an ex-DEA operative who heads into the Andes to rescue his kidnapped niece and nephew, the kids of his murdered diplomat sibling.

Enlisting the help of a washed-up junkie war photographer, the only person to have seen the face of the kidnappers, he is determined to find the children and the truth – but soon learns he must also face the ghosts of his past.

Their journey into the unknown takes them farther and farther away from civilisation, bringing into question everything they believe, while slowly eroding the distinction between real and surreal.

The film sees Snyder avoiding VFX and going back to basics with a tense $10 million mystery thriller, which Snyder previously described as “a meditation on life and death, embodying some of the trials I’ve experienced in my own life”.

“300” and “Rebel Moon” scribe Kurt Johnstad penned the script, while Hans Zimmer is composing the score. The title hasn’t set a distributor or theatrical release yet.
