The former Aquaman, current Namor the Sub-Mariner and potentially new Wonder Woman are all teaming up.
Jason Momoa, Tenoch Huerta and Adria Arjona, along with veteran actor Kiefer Sutherland, are all set to join the Miles Teller-led thriller “Copperhead” at Black Label Media.
The story follows a veteran detective forced to partner with a young federal agent to unravel a conspiracy inside their elite task force when an undercover drug deal goes wrong and explodes into violence.
Character specifics are under wraps. Filmmaker John Swab directs from a screenplay by Chad Feehan and J. Todd Scott. Shooting begins in September.
Black Label Media is financing the project and producing with Teller’s Lime Tree Productions and Swab’s Milk Boy labels.
The casting news comes ahead of this year’s Toronto Film Festival where sales of the film are being launched.
