After some blurry set video, a proper high-def look at Charlie Cox’s new Daredevil costume has been revealed during the filming of the third season of “Daredevil: Born Again”.
Said to be a mostly original design, the photo sees a clean-shaven Cox photographed in a red-and-black suit that is partly 1990s comic-inspired, but mostly an original work for the MCU.
While there are elements of bright red, the suit is primarily black throughout, including the helmet.
When it will appear in the series isn’t clear. Filming has been underway for months, so it’s not likely to make its debut until the back half of the season, which will air a little under a year from now.
The photos follow in the wake of set photos having confirmed multiple returning faces for the new season, including Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist, and Elodie Yung as Elektra Natchios.
While Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin was seen sporting a white beard in the early weeks of filming, more recent photos suggest his Kingpin version is back.
The third season is expected to air in Spring 2027.
