By “Euphoria,” “Anyone But You” and “Immaculate” actress Sydney Sweeney is set to team with Johnny Depp according to a new report at The InSneider.
The project will be the supernatural thriller “Day Drinker” which hails from “The Amazing Spider-Man” director Marc Webb.
The film is based on an original story by Zach Dean (“The Tomorrow War”) and unfolds along coastal France, Portugal, and Spain.
The story spans love, friendship, and revenge and is said to revolve around the bond between an enigmatic stranger and a bartender mourning the loss of her lover.
Further plot specifics are under wraps. Dean and Adam Kolbrenner will produce for 30 West which is financing.
Webb is coming off Hulu’s “Death and Other Details” which was just cancelled today, and Disney’s upcoming Rachel Zegler-led “Snow White” remake.
