By Could Lindsay Lohan be joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Maybe according to a recent report.
The “Mean Girls” and “Freaky Friday” actress has previously expressed interest in participating in a Marvel film, and now US Magazine says that according to one of their sources, “she’s in talks to play a vixen superhero.”
What character she might play isn’t clear. Lohan reportedly auditioned for the role of the Scarlet Witch, which ultimately went to Elizabeth Olsen.
Lohan told Forbes back in 2022: “I’ve never done an action film. I would love to do something with Marvel,” but so far that hasn’t really happened.
Lohan was most recently seen in Netflix’s “Falling for Christmas,” doing a cameo in the “Mean Girls” reboot, and starring in the rom-com “Irish Wish”.
She’s also been doing voiceover work on shows like “Devil May Care” and “Lovestruck High,” and recently confirmed that there are plans in motion for a “Freaky Friday” sequel.
