Sony Pictures released the first trailer for “Tarot,” a new horror film arriving later this year which was formely known as “Horrorscope”.
Spenser Cohen and Anna Halberg pen and direct the film which follows a group of friends who recklessly violates the sacred rule of Tarot readings – never use someone else’s deck.
They unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death to escape the future foretold in their readings.
Harriet Slater, Adain Bradley, Avantika, and Jacob Batalon co-star in the project which hails from Screen Gems and Alloy Entertainment.
Leslie Morgenstein, Elysa Koplovitz Dutton and Scott Glassgold produce.
The film hits cinemas May 10th, opening against “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” and the Amy Winehouse biopic “Back to Black”.
