By Nicole Kidman, Antonio Banderas, Jean Reno, Harris Dickinson and “Talk to Me” breakout Sophie Wilde are all signed on for the A24 erotic thriller “Babygirl”.
Filmmaker Halina Reijn (“Bodies Bodies Bodies”) helms the film which is dubbed an examination of power dynamics. It follows a powerful and in-control CEO (Kidman) who begins an affair with a charismatic much younger intern (Dickinson).
Banderas will play Kidman’s husband, Wilde is the CEO’s assistant who witnesses the affair unfold, and Reno is a rival business executive.
Reijn and David Hinojosa will produce via Man Up Film. A24 will handle financing and filming is slated to get underway in December in New York.
Kidman is coming off last year’s Viking drama “The Northman” and the “Lioness: Special Ops” series, she’s next starring in “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” due next month.
Banderas was seen in last year’s “Uncharted” and this year’s “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny”. He’ll soon be seen as King Herod in “Journey to Bethlehem”.
“Triangle of Sadness” star Dickinson is currently out promoting his wrestling drama “The Iron Claw” alongside Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White.
