By Apple TV+ has premiered the first official trailer for its family action feature “The Family Plan” starring Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan.
Zoe Colletti, Van Crosby, Saïd Taghmaoui, Maggie Q, and Ciarán Hinds co-star in the film in which Dan Morgan (Wahlberg) lives the quiet suburban life of a devoted husband, father of three and successful car salesman.
Decades earlier, he was an elite government assassin tasked with eliminating the world’s deadliest threats. When enemies from his past track him down, Dan packs his unsuspecting wife (Monaghan), angsty teen daughter, gamer teen son and ten-month-old baby into their minivan for an impromptu cross-country road trip to Las Vegas.
Determined to protect his family – while treating them to the vacation of a lifetime – Dan must put his long-dormant skills into action, without revealing his true identity.
The clip comes as Wahlberg has hinted that he’ll be doing less films in the future. Simon Cellan Jones directs from a script by David Coggeshall.
Wahlberg, Stephen Levinson, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger produce the film which is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on December 15th.
