This is only the beginning as Warner Bros. Studios releases the official trailer for director Denis Villeneuve’s second half of his sci-fi epic Dune: Part Two. View trailer below.
The film will explore the continuing journey of Paul Atreides who is united with Chani and the Fremen. As he seeks revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future that only he can predict.
Oh wow….wow. That trailer was awesome! As many know, I was a huge fan of Herbert’s work (the books and the lore of Dune) and that the 2021 movie was one of my most anticipated films that year. And sure enough….it was! 2021’s Dune was masterful and cinematic experience that deliver an sweeping and grandiose feature film that shared the same type of scope that Herbert’s vision called for. Naturally, this was only the first half of the Herbert’s novel, with Part Two being released in 2023. This “first look” at the upcoming movie showcases plenty of footage, including our first glimpses at Florence Pugh’s Irulan and Austin Butler’s Feyd. Of course, I know what is going to happen in the story, but I’m still very much stoked to see this second half of tale. All in all, I’m super excited to see this movie and I can’t wait to see how it will be received by critics and moviegoers. Hopefully for the best!
