By Netflix has premiered the teaser trailer for the Jennifer Lopez-led science-fiction thriller “Atlas” which deals with A.I. and its potential dangers.
The story follows Atlas Shepherd (Lopez), a brilliant but misanthropic data analyst with a deep distrust of artificial intelligence, joins a mission to capture a renegade robot with whom she shares a mysterious past.
But when plans go awry, her only hope of saving the future of humanity from AI is to trust it.
Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown, Gregory James Cohan, Abraham Popoola, Lana Parrilla, and Mark Strong co-star in the film.
Brad Peyton (“San Andreas”) directs from a script by Leo Sardarian and Aron Eli Coleite. Lopez, Peyton, Jeff Fierson, Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Benny Medina, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter produce.
“Atlas” will premiere on the streaming service on May 24th.
