“Ted Lasso” star Juno Temple appeared at the 2024 SAG Awards last night and confirmed to Variety that filming on the third “Venom” movie is nearly complete.

Temple tells the outlet: “We’re coming close to an end at the moment. Its been a wild, wonderful ride. It’s so new to me. It’s a big set! This is crazy. It’s been so much fun and I got to work with such cool people.”

Filming on the project began early last year before being halted just a few weeks in by the SAG-AFTRA strike. Cameras started rolling again late November.

Temple joins Chiwetel Ejiofor and Clark Backo in the upcoming film which is being directed by Kelly Marcel who co-created the story with the film’s star Tom Hardy.

Temple wasn’t the only actress on hand at the SAG awards talking superhero films. Rachel Brosnahan was also there and talked to People about gearing up to play Lois Lane in James Gunn’s “Superman: Legacy” which begins filming this coming week.

She offered one bit of costume news: “I saw the [Superman] suit – it looks amazing. I can’t wait to everyone to see it.”
