Wilson Bethel’s Benjamin Poindexter, aka. the assassin Bullseye, from the third season of Netflix’s “Daredevil” series, will return for the upcoming “Daredevil: Born Again”.
Comicbook.com broke the news, saying it’s unclear how extensive his role will be but indicates Bethel’s Bullseye will appear in the new series which just began production again on Monday.
After the strikes shut down the series partway through filming, it underwent a creative overhaul that has led to the show embracing the past Netflix continuity and tone rather than shying away from it.
“The Punisher” showrunner Dario Scardapane will take over that position whilst “Loki” season two directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are serving as directors.
The show will not be 18 episodes as first announced, but the new episode count isn’t yet set as it’s not clear how much of the already shot episodes will be salvaged.
Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio and Jon Bernthal return and are joined by Sandrine Holt, Michael Gandolfini, and Margarita Lev. Elden Henson and Deborah Ann Woll are also rumored to return.
“Daredevil: Born Again” is expected to be released on Disney+ next year.
