Marvel Studios has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for its highly-anticipated Disney+ and Hulu series “Echo” which launches in full on January 9th.
The clip explores some of the character’s fight sequences – some of which have been glimpsed in the previous trailers, some all new.
The clip also teases Maya Lopez and Kingpin’s complicated relationship, the one that led her on the path she’s on now.
The miniseries spotlights Maya Lopez as she is pursued by Wilson Fisk’s criminal empire. When the journey brings her home, she must confront her own family and legacy.
Alaqua Cox reprises her role as Maya Lopez from the “Hawkeye” series. Also starring as Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin and Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil along with Zahn McClarnon, Devery Jacobs, Cody Lightning, Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, and Graham Greene.
The series hails from head writer Marion Dayre. All five episodes will stream from the evening of January 9th on both Disney+ and Hulu – the first Marvel Studios series to drop all entirely bingeable episodes at once.
