A former assistant of “Fast and Furious” franchise star Vin Diesel has reportedly filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles today alleging the actor sexually battered her while she was working for him during the filming of “Fast Five” in 2010 reports Vanity Fair and Rolling Stone.
The outlets published their reports today and say in the lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles, that plaintiff Asta Jonasson stated that she was hired by Diesel’s company One Race to work for the actor on location in Atlanta.
The lawsuit alleges that Jonasson was asked to wait for Diesel in his hotel suite while he was out with hostesses he had brought back from a club. Upon his return, Diesel allegedly “pulled her onto the bed …. and molested her body.”
The allegations claim that Diesel masturbated in front of her while pinning her to a wall before he left her alone in the hotel suite. Shortly after the assault, she was fired by Diesel’s sister and One Race president Samantha Vincent after less than two weeks on the job.
It claims: “It was clear to her that she was being fired because she was no longer useful.” The lawsuit also includes additional accusations of discrimination on the basis of sex/gender, intentional infliction of emotional distress, hostile work environment, wrongful termination, and retaliation.
Representatives for Diesel and his production company haven’t responded as yet to Vanity Fair’s request for comment.
