Trailer: “Friday the 13th” Prequel “Crystal Lake”

After accidentally leaking the other day to a very good reaction, A24 and Peacock have now officially released the full trailer for the “Friday the 13th” prequel series “Crystal Lake”.

The eight-episode series follows single mother Pam Voorhees, who has been unable to shake her grief after her young, sickly son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake almost a year before.

When two strangers arrive at Pam’s door, digging into her past, a disturbing chain of events is set into motion that leaves the townspeople of Crystal Lake wondering: just who is Pam Voorhees?

Linda Cardellini (“Dead to Me”) takes on the role of Pamela Voorhees who was the killer in the original feature but is essentially absent from subsequent entries as the son Jason, not so dead, becomes the killer.

Callum Vinson, Danielle Kotch, Phoenix Parnevik, Cameron Scoggins, Nick Cordileone, William Catlett and Devin Kessler co-star.

Brad Caleb Kane (“It: Welcome to Derry”) serves as showrunner on the series which premieres October 15th on Peacock.
