The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power
Following a first look at Sauron yesterday, Empire has now revealed a glimpse of Daniel Weyman’s The Stranger in a Gandalf outfit much more akin to the usual Gandalf the Grey look.
The actor tells the outlet he was told by the showrunners: “We want to see that Gandalf has arrived. We want to see him as the wizard we all love from Tolkien’s writings.” He adds: “I found this new side to him, the side that we all hopefully recognise: the mischief, the twinkle in his eye.”

Myron Bolitar
Former SNL regular Chloe Fineman has scored a series regular role in the “Myron Bolitar” series currently in the works at Netflix. Jabari Banks (“Bel Air”) and Jamie McShane (“Task”) are also joining as regulars while Ben McKenzie (“Gotham”) will recur. David E. Kelley and Kyle Long serve as writers, showrunners, and executive producers.
Colin Woodell, KJ Apa, and Diane Guerrero lead the cast in the three lead roles in the series inspired by Harlan Coben’s popular book series about a former basketball prodigy who reinvents himself as a sports agent – using charm, smarts, and a ruthless partner to navigate the high-stakes and dirty world of sports. LEGO One Piece
Netflix has released the teaser trailer for “LEGO One Piece,” a two-part special event hitting the streamer on September 29th. The series has Captain Usopp the Brave recounting all his many heroic exploits with Luffy and co. – ones in which he plays a much more significant part than in the actual events.
My Brilliant Career
Netflix has released the trailer for its new adaptation of the classic Australian novel “My Brilliant Career” which launches on August 13th.
