The Prestige
Filmmaker Christopher Nolan has confirmed that a re-release of his acclaimed 2006 rival magicians film “The Prestige” in a few months time, specifically January 21st 2027, to mark the film’s 20th anniversary.

Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale, Scarlett Johansson, Rebecca Hall, Michael Caine, Andy Serkis and David Bowie co-star in the film which had a fairly soft box-office turnout but was a hit on home video. [Source: Fred Asquith]

Untitled Jude Law-Getaway Film
Actor Jude Law is set to do his version of “The Transporter” it seems, starring and producing a new and currently untitled action feature written by Zach Baylin (“Black Rabbit,” “King Richard”).

Production company Riff Raff co-founder Ben Jackson, speaking at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival on Tuesday, explained the basic premise: “We’ve got a film idea that Jude and I had, which is basically a very simple idea about a getaway driver who wants to get from A to B to C, and there’s a lot of things in his way. I think it’s really exciting because Jude hasn’t really done action like that before.” [Source: Variety]

Godzilla Minus Zero
The second teaser trailer for “Godzilla Minus Zero” is set to release Thursday July 9th at 6:55am US-PT. The sequel to Toho’s highly acclaimed, internationally successful and Oscar-winning “Godzilla Minus One” will release in cinemas in November and follows on from the first teaser for the film which debuted back in April. Nue
“Godzilla Minus One” director filmmaker Takashi Yamazaki is set to direct the original epic “Nue” at 20th Century Studios and Scott Free. Story details are under wraps. Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, Keiichiro Moriya, Go Abe, Georgina Pope and Amie Horiuchiare producing. [Source: Deadline]

Skeletons
John Goodman will join Brie Larson in the JT Mollner-directed thriller “Skeletons” at Bad Robot and Sony Pictures. Kyle Gallner, Willa Fitzgerald, Ione Skye and Daithí Ó Haragáin also star while J.J. Abrams and Roy Lee are among the producers.

The creature feature unfolds from the perspective of a young boy who slowly begins to discover his beloved parents are hiding a disturbing secret about his mother’s true nature. Brian Duffield wrote the initial screenplay based off the short story by Phillip Fracassi, with revisions by Mollner. [Source: Deadline]
