
The Lord Of The Rings: The Hunt For Gollum continues to build its cast. The Menu and The Gorge star Anya Taylor-Joy is the latest to join.
It has been announced in Variety that Taylor-Joy will play Seren, a Sindar Elf of the Woodland Realm.
The press release refers to her as the:
“…trusted and lethal agent of King Thranduil”.
The role of Thranduil is reprised by Lee Pace, returning from The Hobbit.
Andy Serkis also returns as Gollum, alongside Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf and Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins.
Kate Winslet plays Marigol, the matriarch of a settlement of Stoors. Jamie Dornan will play the younger Strider/Aragorn, taking over from Viggo Mortensen.
The Hunt for Gollum began filming in New Zealand and has set a date of December 17th 2027 for release.
