Avengers: Doomsday
Actor James Marsden has spoken about finally being able to wear a comic-accurate Cyclops suit in Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Doomsday,” a distinct change from the black leather outfits of the prior “X-Men” films.

He tells Jimmy Kimmel Live: “The first movies, we were just in black leather that was very tight… But then to put this on, felt very cool, felt proud. And then the visor goes on and I go, ‘I can’t see again.’”

Gundam
Michael Mando, who plays Scorpion in the upcoming “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” has closed a deal to join Noah Centineo, Sydney Sweeney snd Jason Clarke in the live-action “Gundam” movie at Netflix and Legendary. Specifics of his role are under wraps.

Legendary and Bandai Namco Filmworks are developing the live-action film, nased on the mecha sci-fi franchise that began with “Mobile Suit Gundam” in 1979. “Sweet Tooth” showrunner Jim Mickle is directing from his own script and producing with Centineo, Linda Moran and Enzo Marc. “Reacher” and “War Machine” star Alan Ritchson will not face any criminal charges in relation to a publicised incident over the weekend in which the actor was involved in a violent confrontation. According to police detectives in Tennessee it was determined Ritchson acted in self defense. [Source: Deadline]

Johnny Depp
Johnny Depp has reportedly been quietly filming a Netflix horror film in Maidstone in the UK in recent days according to locals. No further details about the project have been revealed. Depp most recently shot Ti West’s “Ebenezer: A Christmas Carol” for Paramount Pictures. [Source: Kent Online]
