Ghost Rider
Ryan Gosling has teased on the Happy Sad Confused podcast that he’s had brief talks with Marvel Studios about a potential onscreen turn as Ghost Rider but it’s looking shaky.
He says: “We’ll keep hope alive. Some discussions have been had. It’s a complicated situation.” Gosling first announced his interest in the role back in 2022.
The End of Oak Street

Untitled Sofia Coppola Project
“Priscilla” and “Lost in Translation” filmmaker Sofia Coppola’s next film, a U.S.-set period piece to star Kirsten Dunst, has been scrapped. The script was done and shooting was to take place this year, but Coppola tells Elle she’s put it aside and may not make it all.
She explains: “It felt too sad. It’s confusing in these dark times. I want to offer some hope and beauty in the world, but then you also don’t want to do something shallow, because it feels like a time for deep things.” [Source: Elle]
Crimson Desert
The much-hyped “Crimson Desert” found itself having a rough launch this week with dropped stock price, soft critical reviews and player complaints about its controls (among other things). Now a new wrinkle has emerged – accusations about whether the game incorporates AI-generated art.
Several players have shared screenshots of in-game art they suspect to be AI-generated, some theorising it is placeholder art left in for release. So far, the game’s developers have not commented and there is currently no AI disclosure on its Steam Store page. [Source: Kotaku]
